Fully Custom Signs - How It Works

First you will need to fill out an entrance form and pay your consultation deposit HERE.

Once your deposit and form are received, I’ll reach out within 48 business hours with any clarifying questions and/or a confirmation that we’re starting on your designs. Your place in our manufacturing schedule is also saved at this time.

You’ll then receive at least 3 design options (typically within 3–5 business days; the exact timeline will be noted in your confirmation email), and we’ll tweak from there until you are completely in love with your sign design. The cost of your sign is calculated based on size, materials, and design details (including extra layers, super‑detailed florals, metallic accents, etc.), and an invoice will be sent via email. Final production will not begin until the invoice is paid. If there is a delay in payment, the completion date for the project may change.

You get three big revisions, and I don’t move forward into production until you absolutely love your designs. Custom sign lead times are subject to change based on demand.

Revisions: What's Included

You have three separate opportunities to revise your provided designs.

A “revision round” may include a few larger layout or font swaps. I’m not counting every tiny tweak—just three separate emails/rounds of updated designs going back and forth. This helps you stay decisive so we can get your dream sign to you in a timely manner.

Once you approve the final design, we’ll begin production on your sign.

Timing & Rush Options

Turnaround time on a custom sign is approximately 6 weeks from the finalization of your proof. If you’ve purchased RUSH processing, you can expect production to be closer to 2 weeks, if not sooner.

Pricing & Upgrades

The cost of a custom sign is made up of:

  • Design fee

  • Cost of sign materials

  • Labor

Final pricing varies based on:

  • Size of the sign

  • Intricacy of the design (especially tiny lettering or detailed florals)

  • Number of 3D layers and raised elements

  • Specialty materials (metallic, mirror, or glitter acrylic, mixed materials, etc.)

Below you’ll find base pricing models for various indoor sign sizes. These prices are for simple, single‑layer designs used indoors. Extra 3D layers, super‑detailed florals, metallic or mirror accents, and other specialty upgrades are available as add‑ons and will be included in your custom quote.

If you’re dreaming up something extra fancy, just let me know on your form and I’ll price those upgrades in from the start.

How much does a custom sign cost?

The cost of a custom sign is comprised of the design fee plus cost of sign materials plus labor.

Final pricing varies based upon size, intricacy of design, and materials required for completion. Below you will find the base pricing models for various sizes. Additionally, the below pricing is based on the cost of signs being created for indoor use, not outdoor use. See below FAQ for outdoor sign questions.

SMALL = 8x8 – $85, 10x10 – $105+
MEDIUM = 12x12 – $125+
LARGE = 16x16 – $175, 20x20 – $240+
X-LARGE = 24x24 – $320

 

Rectangles
SMALL = 8x10 – $80, 9x12 – $90, 11x14 – $130+
MEDIUM = 12x18 – $155, 16x20 – $210+
LARGE = 18x24 – $260, 20x30 – $340+
X-LARGE = 24x36 – $420, 24x48 – $520+

 

Rounds
SMALL = 10" – $100, 12" – $120+
MEDIUM = 16" ; $170+
LARGE = 18" ; $195, 24" – $270+
X-LARGE = 30" – $350+

 

You can customize any of these with:

  • Extra 3D layers for added depth and shadows

  • Super‑detailed florals and illustrations

  • Metallic, mirror, or glitter acrylic accents

  • Mixed materials (wood, acrylic, etc.)

  • Painted or stained backers to match your space

These upgrades are priced into your custom quote based on size, number of layers, and level of detail. If you’re dreaming up something extra fancy, just mention it on your consultation form and I’ll include those options when I design and price your sign.

 

Do you offer shipping on custom signs?

YES! However, at this time we're only offering local pickup for ANY signs over 24".
